Overview
Srikanta Datta Prasad Tumkur (Member, Forbes Technology Council and IEEE) received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India, in 2009. He earned his Master of Science in Information Technology from the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2012, and a Master of Science in Business and Innovation Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris in 2021. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the Department of Computer Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
He is currently Director of Engineering at Coupang Global LLC in Mountain View, California, where he leads platform engineering and development. His prior roles include Senior Technical Leader (Senior Manager level) at Cisco Systems, San Jose, California; Systems Architecture Engineer at the CTO team of Symphony, a collaboration startup in Palo Alto, California; and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle America Inc., Redwood City, California.
Sri’s research interests include large-scale platform development, distributed systems, observability, cybersecurity, and AI/ML systems for cybersecurity. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA.
